Family Easter, Part Two

April 26, 2011/Family
Easter morning, a bunny came to visit my mom’s house. Literally. The girls and I spied him while we were eating breakfast. He stuck around awhile.

Somehow I forgot to get a full family picture, but I did manage to get one of the kids. This was the best shot.
We went to Henry’s aunt’s house after church. The extended clan met there for a meal and games. This is the dessert table because it is way more important than the real food.
The biggest thing at the family Easter is always the egg hunt. I’ve been attending for probably 15 or 16 years. The ‘kids’ are getting bigger. Now we have two hunts. One for the children (10 and under… basically the great-grandchildren)….
And one for the other children… you know…. those that were babies 16 years ago and now are high school or older.
We split the kids into ages because the older ones get serious…. as demonstrated by Erica strapping on her tennis shoes before the hunt.
But back to the little kid’s hunt. I love how these two stuck together like glue.
Looking for candy eggs and the prize egg.
Me and Ryan hung out with Meghan. And wore her sunglasses.

Natalie found the prize egg. It wasn’t this chocolate egg, but one that got her the big, blue stuffed bunny.

She was very proud of herself.
We had an awesome day catching up with folks we haven’t seen for several years, since Christmas or since we were up two weeks ago!
