I feel whipped, in the beat… tired… exhausted way, not in the with a whisk until I’m all fluffy with stick peaks way. That’d be awkward.
After hitting the send button Weds morning to a copy editor with my manuscript ATTACHED I was running high on adrenaline. Excited to finally be done the writing process (really, is it over?) and anxious to start pitching this book to media outlets and YOU and my family. And whoever else will read it.
Your first question might be if I’m excited. And I am. Very excited. But I’m also in list-mode, which means I’m focused on the task at hand and all the things that need to happen between now and the beginning of May.
It takes a lot of work, but it will be worth it in the end. It will probably still be a month before you can preorder it… but what’s a month when you’ve been waiting four years, right?
