Some days (most of them) I feel like I’m failing this boy. He is so “wired” to anything that passively entertains him. I’m frustrated with myself for not engaging him in interactive play more…. I should’ve made this a New Year’s resolution!
love seeing him like that. When you feel that way, think back to the post right before this and the canvas you did. Your kids are blessed to have you for a mom.
Aww, mama he will be fine, right now you are busy with Piper and getting back in to a new normal. Besides he sure does look cute on the counter with the IPAD. I want one of those, hubby keeps telling me no we dont need it BOO ;(
That cute little monkey is doing something good mommy…he used his ability to climb up there and squat…all while eating an apple…and using the ipad like a pro! Ha! He will learn a lot in a house full of women! And his daddy will teach him a lot of “boy things” as time goes by! 🙂
I love that you captured it on your camera! YOU are a good mommy…and your kids are very blessed to have such great parents who provide a good life in so many ways!
Everyone can see by the effortless, radiant smile in every one of his pictures that you are doing absolutely everything right…
We can’t always do everything, but sometimes everything isn’t really necessary in the first place.

Failing is not a word I would use with you or with Ryan. He is adorable and thriving because you are such an awesome mom. Technology is just a magnet for all kids (and some adults). Keep up the good work and pat yourself on the back for all 4 of your wonderful children. 🙂
As an electrical engineer my fascination with computers started literally as soon as I was born. He is learning about Apps, User Interfaces, and even a little about operating systems :-). You are doing great as a mom, and he seems very content and happy. As long as he gets some social engagement it’s fine, perhaps you have an engineer or computer science major on your counter. If he is ever interested about learning how to “control” the objects look into the Alice project for a cool way for kids to start learning more about 3D and graphical modeling via graphical programming – search Carnegie Mellon and Alice.
