The day after Christmas we went to The Frick House for afternoon tea. Henry’s parents came up the evening of Christmas so his mom was able to join us.
We’ve actually never been to the Frick House but have heard good things about the cafe. The girls each brought one of their presents to the tea. Ryan just brought his happy self.
He wanted to look over the menu like a big boy…. we ended up ordering him a grilled cheese that was the bomb-diggity.
The adults partook of true afternoon tea complete with finger sandwiches, scones, and dessert (and here I thought scones were dessert!).
Piper slept the entire time….
I have to say, I could totally be British and partake of tea every afternoon. Yummy!
