Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.”
Yesterday we talked about the first step to a relationship with God – understanding we are sinners and coming to repentance. Today we see the second step – understanding that forgiveness for our sins comes through the blood of Christ. This is what John the Baptist meant by Jesus being the Lamb of God. There is no other way to approach God, except through his son.
It may seem arrogant at first glance to think the ONLY way to heaven is through Jesus. But when we remember that He is part of God, we realize God is saying, “the way to come to me is through me.”
Activity: Print out and complete the maze. Talk about how there is only one way from the beginning to end and turning off the path takes you to a dead end.
