I almost didn’t post today but knew if I didn’t post for a whole two days I’d get phone calls from several sisters making sure everyone was okay. So I’m writing to let you (sisters) know I’m fine. We’re all fine. Just stretched thin this week trying to get more things done than I have time for. I’m not sure why I put such pressure on myself to get my list done… but I do. This week it was curtains. I painted Ainsley’s room in the summer and made her curtains. I’ve been wanting to do the same for Natalie (and she’s been patiently asking when I was going to do it). I also have a lot of food that needs putting up for a later date. Peppers, basil, and tomatoes that will go bad if I don’t do something with them. I HAVE to make salsa or tomato soup or tomato sauce TODAY or my tomatoes will go bad. I blanched a bunch of them on Weds. and chopped them up to make salsa only to turn around and realize I had another whole bag I forgot to unload from the farm. Yikes! I’ll be back at it today. peppers were sliced and frozen for stir-fry and basil was turned into pesto. bananas past their prime went into banana bread.

Whew girl, I needed a nap just after reading your to do list. Take a breather and smell the dasies. I really need to learn to can, can you put up salsa? I do love a spicy salsa, even more so when its a green salsa.
