I arrived home on Wednesday night late and have been going non-stop since. I’m not sure why I would expect differently since our life is always fast-paced. I try to cut out as much extra-curricular activities as possible, but just running our household keeps me on my toes.
This weekend was extra-special. My Aunt Kay and Uncle George drove all the way from Indiana to upstate NY to pick up my grandparents and bring them to meet Ryan. Aunt Karen and Uncle Richard came in from WV to meet up with everyone and we all hung out on Saturday enjoying each other’s company. Here is a recap of the day through pictures:
My mom introducing Ryan to Aunt Kay’s dog, Libby.
Natalie and Ainsley making a Vivian sandwich.
Ryan playing ball with Grandma, Uncle George, and Aunt Karen.
Grandma and Ryan playing patty-cake.
Doing a puzzle with Uncle Richard.
Papa, (Great) Grandma, Grandma, me and the kids.
Ryan, Uncle Richard and Aunt Karen.
Ryan, Uncle George, Aunt Kay, and Libby.
It was an amazing day. Once that was hard to end. Thank you all for driving so far to come and see us!

awe that is definitely a weekend to remember! Praise the Lord for having a great opportunity for everyone to meet Ryan and share another memory together! :o)
I called mom yesterday and she couldn’t stop talking about the weekend. I’m so glad they got to see everyone. My dad gets an extra jewel in his crown for all the driving. He’s always been a great dad.
Extended family is such a blessing. So glad you were able to enjoy yours for a weekend, and that Ryan and the girls could too!
