So I was wrong…

February 18, 2014/Family

Remember when I said Pittsburgh doesn’t do snow days? Well, I was wrong.

Apparently they do if plows can’t do their job because of white out conditions. Of course, the snow was over by 9 a.m., too late for high schoolers to make it worth going to school, but certainly early enough that the elementary could’ve gone. Yikes!

That’s okay, my elementary students are busy doing other things…

Heavy snow falls suddenly don’t bother me this year. Hmmm…

Meanwhile, I’m trying to stay away from the other two boxes of Girl Scout cookies that entered the house yesterday (Girl Scout cookies in the houz! Whoot! Whoot!). I may have eaten more than my fair share…. my goal today is not to have a single one. Because once I have one it’s all downhill from there. I pretty much chain-ate my way through this box of Samoas.

I’m guessing we’ll spend the rest of the day singing Frozen songs. “Um, mom, how do you spell Frozen again?” as he brings up YouTube.

Gotto say it’s pretty cute to have a little boy walking around the house singing, “I’ll be doing what snow does in Suummmeeeerrr!”
