When did it happen?

October 24, 2011/Natalie

Dear Natalie,

Today you turn seven years old. Seven! Can you believe it? You seem so much older to me sometimes. You’re curious about everything, always wanting to know why or how something works. And while lately you’ve been a little shy around new people, you’re mostly adventurous when it comes to trying new activities or food. You want to experience life to the fullest.
You are compassionate. One time you told daddy and me that you wanted to make lots of money. When I asked you why you said, “So I can give it to all the poor people.”
You are nurturing. You always make sure your little brother has what he needs. And when your sister isn’t getting on your nerves, you like to take care of her too.
You’re administrative. You like to make lists, plan activities, and manage those around you.
You are loved. Daddy and me love you very much as do Ainsley and Ryan. We are so grateful to have you in our family. We hope you have a wonderful seventh birthday.
Love,
Mommy
