February 10, 2016/#embracinghard

Hey guys!  It’s another answer to your questions from the reader survey. Seriously, guys, these questions are great. Keep ’em coming!

In this video, I answer the question, “Are there days when you wallow in the mire? How do you get out of it?”

As promised, here is the link to the video I did on How to be Content in Difficulty. If this video was helpful, please share via social media and email.

I think we all need times to refresh and regroup when we are feeling drained! I have times when I feel too weak to face the trials … and I have to go to bed, and sleep, watch tv, read, and nurture myself! Sometimes I get emotional, and I feel spent…and I feel better by the next day…and sometimes not! It depends on what has been going on.
But…thankfully I do get back to feeling better, with the help from my dear husband who will pray with me and encourage me. He is always kind and understanding. Some spouses aren’t good with that!

I think it helps to know that other women experience the same types of things. Thank God my times of emotions, and exhaustion are short lived. But for some women it might take longer to bounce back! We are all unique. I am glad I have the Lord in my life. I love to go for a ride and listen to Christian music and I also pray out loud and talk to God as I drive in the country. I look around at the clouds and the pretty blue sky, and the trees and all He has created, and it lifts my spirit. I also go to the park and sit and watch the ducks on the ponds or watch the people who are out walking, and playing with their kids, and It helps me to think of others instead of just myself.

Everyone has a story! Everyone has trials they face. That’s just how it is.
Another thing that helps me when I am feeling down is to count my blessings! It doesn’t let you remain wallowing in the mire for long when you start counting your blessings! It helps me to want to get up and take a shower and put on some make up! Make up always makes me look better and feel better! Because I have dark circles under my eyes from my allergies, I look really tired or sick when I go without make up. So, it helps me to feel better when I look better!

I have lost many loved ones in my life… Including three grandchildren. I know that the greater the trials, the longer it takes! But the day does come when you feel better!
I like to share hope with others. And I pray daily for myself, my family…and always others in my prayer time. We are all in this together! We need to care for each other!

Leighann, I can see that you do care for others…and that’s why you are becoming a life coach! I love these videos! Keep up the good work girl!

    Love, Linda
