I pretty much feel like Girl Scouts has taken over my life. Between planning meetings, collecting money and permission slips, and taking my daughter around night after night selling Magnuts, it seems I’m doing something every day.   However, I love seeing the character develop in the girls, especially my own. I’m so proud to say that my little Brownie whose history is to sell $250 worth of product sold over $1100, most of that in door-to-door sales!!  If you remember, she agreed to modifying her goal to $800 at my suggestion, but deep down she still held onto the goal of $1500 and even after we reached $800 persuaded me to take her out to keep selling. She finally peetered out with 2 days left in the sale and seemed satisfied with her $1100 mark.

I’m so proud of her for setting a goal and going after it even when it was cold and she didn’t have her sister standing beside her. This was her goal and she nabbed it.

Now we get to look forward to sorting, delivering, and collecting money for approximately 300 cans of nuts and candy!!  Haha!

(You can still support her or Natalie online until November 19. Email me for details.)
