I blinked and 2 months flew by. In the last few weeks Piper started flirting…
And sucking her hand…
And smiling…
She also laughs on occasion and started cooing.
I wish I had a picture of her flirting with the fish that hang off her swing. She “talks” to them and smiles really big. Natalie used to do this with a stuffed octopus that hung down from her carseat. I called him Mr. Octopus and put him in her memory box. Looks like I’m going to have to cut the fish off Piper’s swing… or buy her a Mr. Octopus of her own.
And just so you know, I do brush her hair. Unfortunately it still sticks up. My mom said my hair did this too. Like mother, like daughter I suppose.

My son David’s hair stuck up too. Just a little tuft at the front, kind of like a mohawk.

She is just so sweet…and so darn cute! Our granddaughter Abigail had hair just like that! 🙂 Piper certainly does have personality…and looks older, and very alert and smart! 🙂
Time does go by so quickly…and yes, it is good to take lots of pictures and write lots of notes…because we soon forget the things they do.
