In our house, our baby is referred to as ‘baby boy’ so when “Mary, did you know” comes on the radio the girls love that it is in reference to ‘baby boy’. In fact today, Ainsley about had a fit when my response to her “I want more baby boy music” was “I don’t have baby boy music. It’s on the radio so we have to wait for them to play it.” She was not happy about this.
However while listening to the song, I wondered with how Mary must’ve felt looking at her baby boy and not knowing what God had in store for him, but knowing it would be BIG! When the angel told her, ‘he will be call the Son of the Most High’, did she understand Jesus was God’s son?
When I think of my baby boy, I know God has a plan for him too. This too is written about in scripture. Whether the plan is many years on earth, or just minutes, the plan is perfect. The plan is right. The plan is good.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
