Help me choose {Stitch Fix #10}

June 23, 2015/Style

I decided to get one more Stitch Fix to round out my spring/summer clothes. I was really in need of cute, unworn shirts after Piper was born, but was nursing, so shopping and I didn’t get along for awhile (read: a year). After this fix, I think I’ll be set for awhile.

I requested my favorite stylist and was really pleased with what I got. I’ve really been swooning over Anthropologie lately, but my frame is rather petite and Anthro shirts are very “swingy” as the sales lady said, so they eat me alive with their size. Even their extra small. So I asked Catherine to give me something Anthro-esk.  She came up with this shirt – The Murrey Embroidered Hem Top from Crescent in white. Don’t worry, if I keep it, I’ll iron it!

She also included this Rita Embroidered Tunic by Crescent Moon in navy. It really pops with my white jeans. (UPDATE: This top shrunk terribly when I washed it by hand and let it air dry. I was unable to wear it again.)

Next up is this Houston Split back knit top by Market & Spruce. Spoiler alert: I’m not keeping this one. At just over $40, I feel like this is something I can buy at Target or Marshall’s. I like the color, but I can’t justify the price.

Catherine also sent me a dress. I used to hardly ever wear a dress – – who am I kidding I rarely wear them now – – but do like the idea of having something to slip on for nicer occasions. This is the Zala dress by Skies are Blue in navy.

Lastly, she threw in this Rita teardrop bib necklace by Romolo in light green. Y’all, I’m awful at picking out statement necklaces, but I have to say as soon as I saw this I swooned. You see, my neighbor found this cute maxi dress for me on clearance a few weeks ago and it begs for a statement necklace. How Catherine knew, I’m not sure, but this necklace matches the dress perfectly.

So what do you think… what’s a keeper and what’s going back? Tell me in the comments…

Also, did you know if you like something Stitch Fix sent me you can request it in your fix? If you haven’t signed up but are curious, here is my referral link.  To learn how and why I use Stitch Fix, click here.

    Hands down I would keep the Rita Embroidered Tunic by Crescent Moon in navy and the statement necklace. You look awesome in that navy top!

    Hi cutie…I thought the little knit top fit you well, and the color is pretty…but yes, I can see why you might not want to spend that on it….but it does look pretty. My favorite is the tunic, and it looks classy! And the necklace is fun!

    love it all but I’m with you that $40 is way too much for that top. Love the necklace and you are right – it is perfect with that dress. I really like the white top too but when I wear white tops especially around the “grands” it seems like something always gets on it – do you not have that problem with Piper?

      I may have to rethink the white, but sometimes it’s easier to clean becUse you can bleach it 😉

    I think you should keep it all except the last dress. There so many cute summer dresses available that one looks too big and just isn’t as cute as the rest.

    I also recieved the navy tunic in my June shipment and kept it, loving it. I wore it to my newborn’s baptism (with white jeans) and one other time. During it’s first HAND washing it shrung so bad it can never be worn again. I was very dissapointed. Did you have the same experience with this top?

      Pennie – I had the same problem and was able to resolve it with Stitch Fix. Bummer, huh. I loved that top.
