Dear Abdominal Muscles:

I just want to thank you for all the time and effort you have put into this pregnancy. If I had known how much of a strain this was going to be, well, ok, I still would’ve gone through with it, especially since this was not the result of calculated planning. I really had no choice in the matter is what I’m trying to say. However, that does not change the fact that you’ve handle yourself with much grace during the last 8.5 months. I appreciate how you’ve held up your end of the bargain and my growing baby. 
Speaking of holding up, this brings up another thing I’d like to mention – you’re starting to slack a bit and this is just not the time for it. We have seven days to go and I’m hoping you can find it within yourself to go the extra distance. This is why I lovingly worked with you last fall to get you back into baby shape. This is your moment… your moment to shine. So, shine my lovelies, shine!

    If you judge abdominal muscles by how tight and well they hold up then mine are really dull.
