Okay, so first I need to start with the fact that you guys are the BEST friends to go shopping with because we all know that honesty is the best policy when it comes to shopping with a friend. And boy are you guys honest! I love it!

I asked you to tell me what to keep with stitch fix and you guys came through. You rightly told me the maxi dress didn’t fit well. Yup, so true. I almost didn’t post the picture, but ate my pride and stuck it up there for everyone to see. I believe you guys should see the bad along with the good, so there you go.

I also sent back the multiprinted shirt – – it was just too big. When I opened the box it was on top and I let out a little gasp. I truly thought it was a keeper until I actually tried it on and it was one big tent. Could’ve fit a village of little people under there… or four well-placed hobbits.

Much to your disappointment – and by “your” I mean every single one of you – I sent back the red shirt. It was a nice shirt but it had two issues. One – it was priced a little high for what it was. And two, it was red. Red isn’t my go-to color and I knew I’d pick another shirt over it in most cases. The older I get (eh-em) the more picky I get in paying for something I don’t like. I try not to do it anymore. If I don’t absolutely love the thing, I’m not buying it. If it had been blue, pink or even kelly green, I’d have considered paying the premium price for it. But red? Nope, red is dead to me. (I need to update my profile)

I kept the little denim jacket! It’s a great foundation piece that I can pair with things I already own. I’m so happy to have it and happier that I didn’t have to traipse all over Timbuktu shopping for it. The best part of the fix, which I forgot to share the other day, is the style cards that come with the clothes.

I’m getting to the place where I can almost or all-the-way piece together a similar outfit to what’s on the card. Could it be that I’m getting better at this being-in-style thing? With your help (and Stitch Fix’s) I’m getting there.
